The following step involves selecting the attributes and filters whose role is to segment the chosen database. The three main groups of filters that will help you in data selection are:

  • Basic,

Once the filters are selected, the next step involves deciding whether you want your created segment to be static or dynamic:

  • A static segment involves the persistence of data according to certain predetermined parameters.
  • A dynamic segment involves the variability of data according to predetermined parameters.

If you choose the dynamic segment type, the user base will change and update until you use it.
